Luanda — Angolan Foreign minister, João Bernardo de Miranda, Wednesday in Luanda appointed members of the Cabinda Forum for Dialogue (FCD) for diplomatic posts in Angolan embassies in various countries.
The minister has thus appointed António Fernandes Cláber Pitra, as first secretary of Angolan embassy to Slovakia, while José Manuel Maluengo was named for similar positions in Mozambique, Joel Cumbo in Tanzania, Fidel Casimiro in Ghana and Manuel Zita in Serbia Montenegro.
The minister also appointed Martinho Zau Sakama as second secretary of Angolan embassy to Gabon, Paulo Tomé Jimy Zola to DR Congo and José Chitembo to Congo Brazzaville.
According to Angola's National Radio (RNA) broadcasting station, Amélia Filomena Lelo Mingas and Damião Lelo Bunga have been named as assistant directors of the broadcasting station in northern Cabinda province.
The appointment coincides with the celebration of the first anniversary of the Memorandum of Understanding for Peace in Cabinda.
Peace in Cabinda province was achieved as a result of the Memorandum of Understanding for Peace and Reconciliation on the region, signed on August 01, 2006, in southwestern Namibe province, between Government and FCD.
