Haikota

A road that links the sub-zones of Lalai-Gash, Haikota, Tessenei and Golij, which is of major socio-economic significance is under construction.

The task being undertaken by Segen Construction Company stretches from Adi-Ibrahim-Awgaro-Gergef-Fanco-Tessenei with a total distance of 90 km.

Moreover, the road would link the sub-zones of Lalai-Gash, Golij and Haikota with the one running through the bridge along Gash-River.

It is to be recalled that this road was operational in the days of the liberation struggle but was later on in poor condition.

Meanwhile, a road that runs from Adi-Bhailai, Emni-Haili sub-zone, to Mai-Dima has been repaired and as a result the local inhabitants have become beneficiaries.
