Stockholm — Eritrea Festival 2007 in Stockholm that was underway from August 2 concluded yesterday. According to ERINA correspondent, it was not only a reminiscence of Bologna Festival in all aspects but also a vivid manifestation of strong Eritrean unity.
The Festival highlighted different children's entertainment programs, art exhibition and bazaars, in addition to lectures regarding migration and its psychological consequences and the question of identity, as well as female circumcision and its effects.
During the concluding ceremony, Mr. Hagos Gebrehiwet, Head of Economic Affairs at the PFDJ, handed certificates to those who strived to make the Festival a success. Over 8,000 people from Sweden, other Scandinavian countries, Europe and the US participated in the Festival, reports added.
