Guinea-Bissau Prime Minister Martinho Dafa Cabi arrives on Sunday for a two-day official visit to Botswana at the invitation of President Festus Mogae. The prime minister's delegation will comprise minister of cooperation, advisors from the ministries of investment and enterprise, and infrastructure, and other government officials.
Immediately on arrival, Cabi will hold official talks with President Mogae in the morning. In the afternoon the visiting premier will receive courtesy calls from the Speaker of the National Assembly (Patrick Balopi) and the Leader of Opposition Otsweletse Moupo. He will later visit the Mokolodi Nature Reserve before attending a state banquet at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC).
On Monday morning, Cabi and his entourage will tour Jwaneng Diamond Mine and return to Gaborone in the afternoon. He is expected to address a Press conference at the Government Guest House before returning home.
