Washington, D.C.

Eritrea Festival in Washington D.C. that was in progress for two days concluded last Sunday with patriotic zeal.

Senior Government and PFDJ delegate, Health Minister Saleh Meki, gave briefings to the Festival participants and particularly to youth members of the Front on the objective situation in the Homeland, as well as regional and international issues.

Noting the endeavors being made towards achieving food security, promoting equitable and reliable social services, including education, industrial development and other domains, Mr. Saleh called on nationals in the Diaspora to enhance their active participation in the nation-building process.

In a meeting he held with Eritrean youths who grew up abroad, the Minister called on them to make good use of the available opportunities and thereby play due role in the national development endeavors.
