Nairobi — ODM Kenya politician Kalonzo Musyoka has said the battle for the country's leadership in the General Election will feature President Kibaki, Lang'ata MP Raila Odinga and himself.
And even with the competition, Mr Musyoka said he did not see himself losing.
"With President Kibaki on the right and Raila on the left, I will pass in their midst, and they will see nothing but dust, before they realise what would have hit them, I will be occupying State House," he said.
Good riddance
"I am told that my brother Raila has once again defected by buying the ODM from Mr Imanyara, but we faithful members of ODM-K are saying it is good riddance, we will beat him proper come the elections," said Mr Musyoka.
He added that a proper National Executive Council would be constituted following the latest developments.
He urged the ODM-K National Election Board to resign and also said all the money that the presidential hopefuls took to the board should be returned to its owners.
"I have already talked to one of the board members, Mr Frank Kwinga to get out," said Mr Musyoka.
The news of Mr Raila's move to ODM came as Mr Musyoka was leading a meeting of MPs allied to him, civic and parliamentary aspirants and opinion shapers from Ukambani region at the Garden hotel in Machakos.
A traitor
Mr Musyoka asked the crowd," Raila and his team has moved out of the ODM-K. Now who is a traitor, Raila or Kalonzo?" The crowd roared back: "Its Raila".
City Lawyer Daniel Maanzo who walked in as the meeting was in progress was cheered with ODM-K team leader Mr Mutula Kilonzo, MPs Charles Kilonzo, Kiema Kilonzo and daudi Mwanzia likening him to the biblical David who floored the might Goliath. They were referring to the battle over ownership of ODM-K, pitting Mr Maanzo and the pro-Odinga team
Other MPs present were Mrs Nyiva Mwendwa, Mr Mwangu Ivuti, Mr Benson Mbai , Mr Moffat Maitha and Mr Gideon Ndambuki.
