Agordat — Different development activities have been effectively carried out in Agordat sub-zone through the coordinated efforts of the Summer Work Program participants, government employees and the general public.

The head of economic development in the sub-zone, Mr. Eyasu Haile, indicated that over 100 km.-long terraces and about 2,000 meters of embankments have been constructed in 7 administrative areas of the sub-zone.

Moreover, about 8,000 tree seedlings have been planted in different areas of the sub-zone through the campaign.
