Lubango — The main coach of Cote d'Ivoire national team of basketball, Jackes Monclar, praised the structure of Lubango's "Nossa Senhora do Monte" main pavilion, after his boys' training session Wednesday, ahead of their participation in the African Championship of Basketball (Afrobasket2007) in five Angolan cities.
"Lubango city and its people have much hospitality, we have found a good pavilion," he said.
The Cote d'Ivoire team, who was speaking to journalists after the first training session of his boys, deplored the fact that the pavilion floor was slippery.
However, Jackes Moclar played down the fact, stating his team will adjust to the ground condition.
On the other hand, he said he has not come with the professionals he would like to, for reasons he blamed on Cote d'Ivoire's federation.
He considered Egypt and Senegal as top seed of group B that also includes Mali.
