Summer Work Program participants in Anseba region have undertaken effective tasks focusing on afforestation, soil and water conservation, among others.

In the month-long campaign in Keren, Hagaz, Elabered, Adi-Tekelezan, Halhal and Geleb, they dug 20,000 holes for planting 600,000 tree seedlings and repaired 3km.-long road that was damaged by floods.

Over 700 students and 30 supervising teachers, as well as agricultural experts participated in the campaign.
