Eritrea: NUEW's Branch in Gash-Barka Region Extends Assistance Worth 1 Million Nakfa to Needy Women

Barentu — The branch office of the National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) in Gash-Barka region extended 1 million Nakfa worth of cattle to 450 needy women in Molki, Mensura, Logo-Anseba, Barentu, Haikota and Golij sub-zones.

250 of the beneficiaries received 5 to 6 goats each, while 200 got water carriers along with donkeys. They expressed appreciation for the genuine gesture.

The NUEW branch in the region also extended similar assistance to needy women who subsequently made improvements in their standards of living.
