Ngomba Efande

If you know what type of meat to eat these days, then you are a very lucky person indeed.
Imagine what's now in the headlines and let's name what you'll not like to hear : mad cow disease, bird flu, African swine fever.
Before you draw our attention to any of these "fevers" that we might have forgotten, know that in Britain, cattle rearers are eating their heads.
In Cameroon and especially in the South West Province, it's high blood pressure time for pig farmers.
Despite the progress so far realised by modern science, we can't understand why these diseases still defy veterinary medicine. And who says if we revert and start eating fish on a large scale, we'll not soon hear the discovery of "fish flu" or "mad fish disease". We are confused.
