Namibia: We Will Defend Nujoma - Pohamba

Windhoek — President Hifikepunye Pohamba says attempts by the National Society for Human Rights' (NSHR) Executive Director Phil ya Nangoloh to bring Founding President Sam Nujoma and three other Swapo members before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for alleged war crimes is causing him a lot of embarrassment.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Swapo Party Youth League (SPYL) 4th Ordinary Congress, Pohamba said during the recent SADC Ordinary Summit of the Heads of State in Zambia, various presidents asked him what Nujoma has done.
