Angola: Moxico - Lecture Opens Celebrations of Head of State's Anniversary

Luena — A lecture with the theme "The figure and deeds of President José Eduardo dos Santos" opens this Thursday, in Luena, eastern Moxico province, the programme of celebration of the Angolan statesman's 65th birthday, to be marked on 28 August.

According to a press note received by ANGOP, the programme includes the re-inauguration of six metallic bridges in the Bundas locality, as well as the holding of cultural, sports and recreational activities.

The Bundas District will host the province's main cultural event which will be presided by the governor of Moxico, João Ernesto dos Santos "Liberdade".
