The construction of a potable water supply project in 3 administrative areas of She'ib sub-zone at a cost of 6 million Nakfa has been finalized.

The project that was implemented with the cooperation of the Southern Red Sea regional administration and partners in Besiela, Tuluk and Ge'aneb administrative areas included the digging of 3 wells, installation of 8 km.-long water pipelines and the construction of 3 water tankers with a capacity of holding 200 cubic meters, as well as 8 distribution stations. In addition, 3 water pumps that generate 27 kilo volts electricity have been installed.

Previously the local inhabitants used to travel for 2 hours to fetch water. They expressed appreciation to the Government for alleviating their problems.
