Uganda: Pastor Kayiwa's Second PHD

Kampala — FORGET the troubles and controversies he has had to endure in the past. Pastor Simeon Kayiwa of Namirembe Christian fellowship is now officially one of the most (if not the most) learned theologians in Uganda.

He recently got his second Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the Latin University of Theology in California, USA. Dr. Kayiwa already holds a Doctor of Divinity from the same university. His thesis (for the former) titled The Supernatural Unfolded has already been published in the UK and is expected out soon.

Kayiwa, who also holds a master's degree in Theology from the same university, was recently elected to the university council of the Latin University of Theology as the first and sole African representative. Kayiwa is expected to leave for graduation next month.

A party will be held at his church to celebrate his achievement shortly after. The Latin University of Theology is recognised in 183 countries.
