In continuation of efforts to develop human resource capacity, 40 members from Mai-Nefhi College of Science and Technology assigned to the Ministry of Information today graduated upon completion of a 2-month course in basic journalism.

The course that included news and article writing, correct usage of language and introduction to mass media was offered by skilled Ministry staff members.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the head of Human Resource Development, Mr. Girmai Woldegergish, said that the aim of continuous training is to lay the groundwork for reliable human resource capacity. The head of Quality Control in the Ministry, Mr. Paulos Gebremariam, handed certificates to the graduates.

A representative of the graduating batch on her part noted that the training would help upgrade their skills and asserted that they would further improve it.
