The Administrator of Anseba region, Ms. Salma Hassan, stressed the significance of equitable distribution of national resources and mapping out short and long-term program of action to this end.

Ms. Salma made the statement in a meeting with sub-zone administrators, heads of branch ministries regarding ways of implementing the charted action programs for the next 5 years in the domains of social, economic and infrastructure works.

The action program would give priority to the construction of 15 road networks, drafting master plans for 13 semi-urban centers, as well as the construction of 8 market centers in different administrative areas.

It would also include the construction of 24 elementary and junior schools, as well as 13 health centers, in addition to efforts to ameliorating potable water supply problems.
