Mailba — A micro-dam with a capacity of holding 115,000 cubic meters is under construction in Mailba administrative area, Adi-Quala sub-zone, at a cost of 1.4 million Nakfa.

It is expected to benefit 1,200 people and 1,500 livestock, in addition to facilitating irrigation farming on 8 hectares. The local inhabitants, members of the Warsay-Yikaalo Development Campaign are taking active participation in the undertaking.

Previously, the local inhabitants used to travel long distance to fetch water.
