Bujumbura — The main office of the Uprona party in the city of Bujumbura is still protected by the police after troubles that arose yesterday following the dismissal of the First Vice-President, Dr Martin Nduwimana from this party.
Neither one of the conflicting sides is allowed to enter the building. Troubles within this party arose when the leader of Uprona, Mr Aloys Rubuka, was holding a meeting with members of the partial from his party. This meeting was stopped by partisans of Dr Martin Nduwimana, who have already undertaken actions to dismiss Aloys Rubuka, the current Uprona leader.
These troubles were triggered by the recent dismissal from the party of Dr Martin Nduwimana which created another wing within Uprona party. The dismissal of Dr Nduwimana from the party is opposed by Mr Antoine CISHAYO, the vice president of Uprona.
Recall that Cishayo also works in First vice Presidential office along with other five members of the executive board who walked out of the meeting that was organized to dismiss their boss, Dr Martin Nduwimana.
