Nairobi — Days after Kenya's former President Daniel arap Moi endorsed his successor Mwai Kibaki for a second term in the upcoming December elections, details have emerged of extensive corruption perpetrated by Moi and his henchmen during his 24-year rule.
A secret report exposed on Thursday night laid bare a web of shell companies, secret trusts and front-men that Moi used to channel hundreds of millions of dollars into nearly 30 countries, according to Britain's Guardian newspaper.
