In a statement it issued in connection with the 46th anniversary of the launching of the Eritrean people's armed struggle for independence (Bahti Meskerem), the People's Front for Democracy and Justice (PFDJ) underlined that the spirit and journey of this historical date would always remain on track no matter any conspiracy.

The Front noted that this historic date symbolizes history of self-reliance and firm resolve in one's goal, and as such does not falter in treading the chosen path regardless of any conspiracy.

The PFDJ went on to say that the Eritrean people are engaged in resolute efforts on the basis of self-reliance to build a nation in which generations would lead a life of dignity and prosperity. It further asserted that Bahti Meskerem is a vivid reminder that our struggle would as ever culminate in victory.
