Nigeria: Price of Bread Soars as Scarcity Persists

Lagos — BREAD is fast becoming a luxury as the warning strike embarked upon by Master Bakers and Caterers Association (MBCAN) of Nigeria ends today.

Daily Champion survey revealed, at the weekend, that the cost of sliced bread previously sold at N130 now sells for N200 and the product itself is scarce.
