Kampala — ANOTHER late show, another late medal, another redemption act for by 5000m star Moses Kipsiro. The African champion delivered one of his career-best races to finish third and win $20,000 (Shs34.2) at the IAAF World Championships in Osaka, Japan yesterday. In so doing, he once again spared Uganda's blushes on the last day of the competition, just like he did in July at the All Africa Games.
It is Uganda's first ever World Championship bronze medal but third overall. Davis Kamoga won a 400m bronze in 1997 while Dorcus Inzikuru clinched gold in Helsinki in 2005.
