Nigeria: Students Protest Poor Allowances At Minna Leadership Seminar

Minna — Student union leaders in tertiary institutions from north-central zone who converged on Federal Government College (FGC), Minna, on a three-day leadership training at the weekend rose in protest of what they called poor transport allowances.

The protesting youths took hostage of officials of the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, which was in charge of the disbursement of the allowances after the seminar for over three hours, Daily Trust gathered.
