Addis Ababa — Ethiopia is a country where highly trained professionals leave for better prospects at an alarming rate, making the country the worst affected in Africa, a study revealed on Thursday.
The study, which was presented at a National Symposium on Ethiopian Diasporas, showed that the country lost almost 75 percent of its skilled professionals within ten years including one third of medical doctors who deserted the country for better offers in other countries..
