Super Eagles Head coach, Berti Vogts is set to remedy the mistake he made against the Cranes of Uganda by capping Everton of England youngster, Victor Anichebe in this weekend's Nations Cup qualifier against the Crocodiles of Lesotho in Warri.

The youngster was left on the bench by the German tactician during the first leg Nations Cup qualifier against the Cranes of Uganda at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta and the English FA took advantage of the blunder by inviting Anichebe to the U-21 team, but the all action striker shunned Stuart Pearce's invitation.

Vogts told brilafm.net exclusively at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja that the youngster will likely play against Lesotho.

"There is a possibility. I have to see him and see how ready he is for the match and thereafter see what happens," he said.

The German ex-international also talked about his plans to check out more players and see what they can offer before the Nations Cup in Ghana next year.

"I have to try and see some of these players and give them the required international experience before the Nations Cup in Ghana. I would not like to take any untested player to the Nations Cup," Vogts stated.
