Uganda: Traders Stranded in Amuru

Kampala — OVER 100 trailers and thousands of traders heading to South Sudan are stranded at Pawel-Lalem in Atiak sub-county, Amuru district, because of the impassable roads.

The assistant commissioner of the Ministry of Works, Balamu Bisuti, said a team had been sent to salvage the situation by covering the roads with murram and installing culverts.
