Hirgigo

The inhabitants of Hirgigo and Emberemi are stepping up development activities in line with on-going endeavors to achieve food security.

They are actively engaged in the construction of embankments and terraces so as to divert water into rivers for irrigation farming.

Accordingly, the inhabitants of the two administrative areas have constructed a total of 18,000 meter-long terraces.
