Central Denkalia

Underground water reservoirs are being constructed in the Central Denkalia sub-zone, in the Southern Red Sea Region, as part of efforts to ease potable water supply problems. The task is being undertaken through joint endeavors of the Government and the general public.

The reservoirs that are under construction in the villages of Adi-Gefen, An'alu, Dud and Skabio are expected to serve more than 3,000 people, along with their livestock.

Three of the water reservoirs have already been finalized and the remaining one is near completion. Moreover, the local inhabitants have dug a well and the installation of water pipelines is underway.
