Nigeria: Armed Forces Allay Fears On Terrorism Attacks

Abuja — The Nigerian armed forces yesterday pledged to forestall any possible terrorist attacks in any part of the country, assuring that they are battle ready to ward off any attack.

This assurance came from the Director of Defence Information, Col M. D. Yusuf, following Thursday's alarm raised by the American Consulate in Lagos over a threat on western and United States' interests in Nigeria.
