Asmara — A total of 1,505 students who completed Masters, Degree and Diploma courses in the University of Asmara graduated today at a ceremony in Main-Nefhi Technology Institute.
Congratulating the graduating batch on behalf of the Chancellor of the University, President Isaias Afwerki, the Minister of Education, Mr. Semere Russom, underlined that the nation's resources essentially lie in its manpower. He further pointed out that the Government makes top investment in the development of human resources.
Also speaking on the occasion, the Vice President of the Institute, Dr. Gebreberhan Ogbazgi, explained that the institution is exerting utmost efforts to live up to expectation.
The Acting President of the University, Mr. Tadesse Mehari, said on his part that eight colleges have already been set up in different part of the country and are providing educational courses.
