Geez New Year (Kudus Yohannes) was today celebrated in Golij, Gash-Barka region, at national level.

The observance was broadcast Live through ERI-TV and Dimtshi Hafash. Goliji is the area where the majority of citizens displaced by the TPLF regime's war of aggression are being rehabilitated.

Speaking on the occasion, the Administrator of Gash-Barka region, Mr. Kahsai Gebrehiwet, said that religion in Eritrea is the symbol of unity and nationalism.

Cultural performances added color to the celebrations.
