Denkalia

Potable water supply projects have been implemented in 7 villages of the South and Central Denkalia sub-zones at a cost of 2 million Nakfa.

A total of 3,000 people, along with their cattle, in the villages of Debaisima, Ber'asole, Kiloma, Halodura, Rufanto, Boli and Ikuhibara are the beneficiaries.

The head of the water resources branch office in the Southern Red Sea region, Mr. Russom Teklemariam, indicated that vigorous efforts have been made to implement the project, taking into consideration the aridity of the area. He added that efforts will continue to enable the remaining sub-zones to have access to potable water supply.
