The locality encompassing the Adi-Maeleya administrative area, which was completely destroyed by the TPLF regime's war of aggression, has now been rebuilt through the joint efforts of its inhabitants who used to live in IDP camps for years.

The Administrator of the area, Mr. Gebrehiwet Kidane, explained that a big micro-dam has already been constructed by the Government to ease water supply problems and that efforts are underway to provide balanced social services in the area.

Adi-Maeleya administrative area is located 40 km. south of Shambuko.
