Mogadishu — The interim government of Somalia has lifted three month long curfew imposed in the capital of Mogadishu for the Month of Ramadan. The curfew was imposed in June following in an increase of insurgent attacks on government bases.
Speaking in a press conference at his residents, Somali premier Ali Mohamed Gedi has publicly announced that the curfew imposed on Mogadishu has been lifted for the holy month of Ramadan, the month celebrating the revelation of the Muslim holy Quran during which the faithful fast from dawn to dusk,
