Sierra Leone: NEC Official in Election Fraud

Freetown — Assistant Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in charge of violent crime syndicate, JPJ Conteh Tuesday disclosed that one Allie Koroma, an official of the National Electoral Commission (NEC) was Saturday caught issuing four ballot papers to one Mohamed Kainesie at Jenbeh Polling Station in Bo.

Conteh who was speaking during the weekly police press briefing told journalists that the suspect is on the run, adding that the police have arrested Mohamed Kainesie who was issued with the ballot papers.
