Asmara — Mr. Hussein Mohammed Farah Aideed who participated in the just concluded Somali Congress for Liberation and Reconstitution expressed confidence that the Leadership of the Alliance for Reliberation of Somalia would reunite the country by defeating the invading forces of the Meles regime.
Stating that the Asmara Congress enabled Somalis to hold successful deliberations without any external interference and reached agreement, he pointed out that the reliberation and reconstitution of the country is not far, as the Somali people have risen up in unison against the Meles regime under the umbrella of the Alliance for Reliberation of Somalia.
He further indicated that he fully supports the political program and charter of the Alliance and recalled that Somalis were heading for reconstitution of the nation at the time the Courts Union provided leadership. Mr. Hussein Aideed went on to say that the unity of Somali nationals inside the country and abroad has been reinforced after the TPLF regime's invasion.
Expressing appreciation to the people and Government of Eritrea for the cooperation extended to the Somali people, he lauded the prevailing peace and security in Eritrea.
Mr. Hussein Aideed stated that the so-called transitional government is not only subservient to the Meles regime but also does not exist in reality. Moreover, he exposed that the TPLF regime is deliberately destroying the historical city of Mogadishu and its residence.
