Nigeria: Mrs. Sylva Begins Health Awareness Campaign Among Women

Lagos — Wife of the Bayelsa State Governor Mrs. Alanyingi Sylva, has said that her maiden gender healthcare programme for women of the state tagged "Cervical and Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening" was the beginning of healthcare awareness campaigns that would be taken even to the rural areas of the state.

Mrs. Sylva who disclosed this Thursday at the flag-off of the programme in Yenagoa, said the programme was a result of an age-long dream to reach out to the women folk.
