Ghana: Ex-MP Threatens to Sue KMA, Chinese Company

Accra — A FORMER Member of Parliament for Kwabre, Nana Kwame Asante Frempong has threatened to take legal action against the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) and a Chinese construction firm, Messrs Jiangsu Jiangdu Construction for what he described as a breach of public regulation and a violation of his fundamental human rights by the actions of the two bodies.

The former legislator who is also the Managing Director of Rosamond Memorial Hostel and Wonoo Ventures in Kumasi has accused the two parties of causing huge damage to his hospitality business by blocking an access road to his project at Ahensan Estate, a suburb of Kumasi.
