Angola: Taekwondo - Huambo to Host National Championships

Huambo — The central Huambo Province will host, in October this year, the seniors national championships of taekwondo in both sexes, Angop has learnt.

The chairman of the Angolan Taekwondo Federation, Valentino Muquinda, has informed that the choice of Huambo is a recognition of the efforts this province has been making towards the development of this sport, becoming thus the second centre of this discipline in the country.

The competition will have the participation of 35 fighters from Luanda, Huila, Benguela, Cabinda, Huambo and Kwanza-Sul provinces.
