Uganda: For Torture Victims, Even Court Orders Bring No Relief

Kampala — FRED Bagole was supposed to be a millionaire after winning a court battle for which he was to get Shs75.8 million damages for the 2002 torture at the hands of security agents.

He never lived to touch the money as his injuries caught up with him. He died last year without receiving a penny.
