Nigeria: Respite for Medically Unfit Soldiers

Abuja — Respite is on the way for medically unfit soldiers as the Military Pensions Board (MPB) is set to commence payment of their entitlements after ascertaining the degree of disabilities.

In a press release made available to Leadership Weekend by Bisi Kwaji, and signed by the Board's press secretary, Flight Lieutenant Musa I. Salmanu, in line with military practice, a medical board was constituted to examine their cases individually and ascertain the degree of disability, years of service, among other issues for further necessary action.
