Mozambique: Guebuza Urges Citizens to Register As Voters

Maputo — Mozambican President Armando Guebuza was among the first people to receive his new voter's card on Monday, the first day of a complete re-registration of the country's electorate.

Guebuza registered at a post operating from one of the schools in central Maputo, and took the opportunity to urge all Mozambicans to do the same if they are to exercise their right to vote and to stand in elections.
