Kenya: KPA Team in Europe Over Surcharge Fee Threat

Top managers of the Kenya Ports Authority have flown to Europe in a bid to stem threats of imposition of Vessel Delay Surcharge (VDS) by shippers that was due to take effect from next month.

KPA Chairman Joseph Kibwana; Managing Director Abdalla Hemed Mwaruwa; and the Harbour Master, Captain Twalib Khamis, are in a delegation that left at the weekend.
