Uganda: NGO Invests Sh800m in Building Schools

Kampala — A UK-based NGO, in support of higher education, Promoting Equality in African Schools (PEAS), is investing sh800m to set up two schools.

The director of PEAS in Uganda, Mike Kironde, said they plan to set up 10 schools in the country within the next three years. "Construction of two schools has already started at Buloba in Wakiso and Kikandwe in Mubende," Kironde said, adding that both schools would open in 2008.
