Nigeria: Ugwu for Opportunity Confab

Lagos — Minister for Commerce and Industry, Chief Charles Ugwu, Minister of State for Finance, Mr Aderemi Babalola and Managing Director, First Bank of Nigeria Plc, Mr Jacobs Moyo Ajekigbe, are among six Nigerians that will be delivering key papers at this year's edition of Opportunity Nigeria Investment Conference, organised by Nigeria British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC), in collaboration with Pielle - PRAfrica International.

Other speakers at the conference scheduled to take place at the London Chamber of Commerce, London, United Kingdom, tomorrow are Chairman, Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Dr Ransome Owan, Chairman, All Party Nigeria Parliamen-tary Group, Rt.Honourable John Robertson and Chairman, Delta Economics, UK, Dr Rebecca Harding.

According to a press release issued on behalf of NBCC by Horizon Media, a subsidiary of Celtron Group, Mr Aderemi Babalola will speak on "Benefits of Nigeria's Reduced Debt Burden and Enhanced Foreign Reserve to Foreign Investment," his Commerce and Industry counterpart, Chief Charles Ugwu will speak on "New government, New opportunities," and Dr Ransome Owan will deliver a paper titled "Opportunity for British investors in the Nigerian Power sector."

The conference, themed, "Doing Business in Nigeria ," will also afford participants opportunity of discussing topical issues on Banking and Investment, Finance, Oil and Gas, Agriculture, Energy, and other sundry sectors, and opportunity of testimonials by British investors in the Nigerian Economy.

According to NBCC President, Senator Dipo Odunjirin, the event, which was shifted to allow inputs from the President Umaru Yar'Adura -led administration could not have had better speakers.
