Luanda — The ombudswoman of Mali, Fatoumatha Diakité Ndiaye Thursday here praised the Angolan authorities for the institutionalisation of this organ, a measure that reflects the promotion of good governance and transparency in the management of public affairs.
The Malian jurist, who is in Luanda since Wednesday on an official work visit, offered these congratulations to Prime Minister Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, during an audience at the Presidential Palace.
According to her, the meeting also served to discuss other issues of bilateral interest, between the two countries and to thank Angolan authorities for preserving the memory of the deceased Malian diplomat Alioune Blondin Beye.
