Nigeria: Govt Raises Tourism Fund to Uplift Women

Jos — Minister of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode said yesterday that proceeds of the proposed "Tourism Development Fund" would be used to improve the economic status of women in the country, among others.

Speaking at this year's World Tourism Day celebration in Jos, Plateau state, he said this was because the current administration's policy was aimed at ensuring that women generally, are not discriminated against.
