Kampala — BARCLAYS Bank has opened its 32nd branch in Masaka. The bank's chief operations officer, Richard Byarugaba, said by stretching their services to Masaka, Barclays is taking services like local business solution for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to enable the business community access loans.
"We are committed to ensuring that we bring innovative services closer to the people of Masaka. We believe the future of this country's economy lies in nurturing the saving culture right from the grass roots," he said.
Byarugaba said: "We were here many years back and now we are back. The bank has realised there is need to give good banking services in Masaka. Our aim is to make sure that we offer the best everywhere we operate."
