Eritrea: Country and Dominican Republic Agree to Establish Diplomatic Relations

Asmara — Eritrea and the Dominican Republic have agreed to establish diplomatic relations.

The agreement was concluded in New York by Foreign Minister Osman Saleh, on the Eritrean side, and Foreign Minister Carlos Morales Troncos, on the side of the Dominican Republic. Both sides agreed to work diligently to foster relations in the domains of trade and economy.

The Dominican Republic, with a population of 9 million, is located in the Caribbean.
